About Us

Founded in 2003, Farsite Products Limited specialise in security products for the touring caravan market. Between 1997 and 1999 Sharon Eason had three caravans stolen from three very different locations. One was returned, and this experience gave rise to the design of the security systems produced by Farsite Products Limited.

Since beginning to market the first caravan alarm system, we have been approached by owners, distributors and manufacturers of related vehicles (including narrow boats and other canal craft) which has resulted in an ever increasing range of simple to operate alarm systems.

We have made a deliberate decision to concentrate on designing and producing an alarm system which will deter the thief. Because we are a specialist, and because we all own and use caravans, we will ensure that our system is effective, cost efficient and easy to install and use.

We will always work closely with other companies to provide our customers with a one stop shop for a wide range and choice of security products to meet personal preferences. To this end, we have forged links with a number of producers of tracking systems, from the simple pager to the full systems with call centre and police response.

Farsite Products recommend that as many measures as is practicable are taken to deter the thief. Mix mechanical and electronic systems, alarms which make a noise with silent tracking systems, and never forget that the ultraviolet marker pen, DNA coding systems and microdots all have their place in defeating the criminal.
